1 – YOUR EATING AN UNHEALTHY DIET

Too many processed foods including “low fat” foods.
Too much sugar.

Your fridge and pantry are full of convenience and packaged goods. You eat poor quality food.

2 – YOU ARE ALWAYS DIETING

As a weight loss program, diets just don’t work!

Deprivation of restrictive diets may lead to overeating and binging.  Your body doesn’t want you to starve, it responds to overly-restrictive diets by slowing your metabolism.

This in-turn, of course makes it harder to lose weight. You may even gain back the weight you lost plus some more.

3 – YOU DOING THE WRONG TYPE OF EXERCISE

Too much cardio and not enough strength training.

Walking is not enough. Take an honest look at your exercise routine.

4 – YOU HAVE A THYROID PROBLEM

There and many reasons for this.

Check you symptoms; do you have: hair loss, cold or heat intolerance, muscle weakness, fatigue, nervousness, emotional and cognitive issues, insomnia, unexplained weight gain or loss, tummy issues, racing heart etc.

5 – YOU HAVE ANOTHER HORMONAL IMBALANCE

Such as chronically raised cortisol, also known as the stress hormone.

This can inhibit weight loss.

Certain medications can cause weight gain as a side effect. Whether from fluid retention, changing your appetite or from a changes to hormones.

Examples are, birth control pills, anti-depressants, blood pressure medication and steroids… the list is endless.

Check your prescription drugs; is weight gain as a side effect?

7 – YOUR NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP

Research suggests that people who slept between under 5 hours per night are more like to consume more calories the next day.  Compared to those who slept between 7-10 hours.

Not getting enough sleep compromises the rest, digest and repair process.  Thereby inhibiting healing and elimination and increasing toxic build up and excess weight.

Do you have poor sleep every night?

8 – YOUR AND EMOTIONAL EATER (good and bad emotions)

Whether to de-stress and unwind from your day, or just bored, emotional eating is like to be holding you back from losing weight.

Think about when you mindlessly eat unhealthy food (that’s sort of contradictory, but you know what I mean… in past tense).

What emotion sent you there? How where you feeling at that time?

9 – YOUR ARE EATING TO MANY HEALTH FOODS

Good for you foods can be very delicious, but too much of a good thing can be detrimental.

Think high energy foods such as avocados, coconut milk and nuts etc.

Your diet is packed with healthy fats like eggs, avo’s and healthy oils, but you are not following a high fat, low carb diet…

Are you still eating high carbs?

10 – YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY

Constantly bloated, your skin is acting up or your tummy constantly feels off.

Most food allergies trigger inflammation as your body try’s to fight against it.  If you have a skin condition that does not seem to improve, a digestion issue or a general feeling of unwell.
