Take a moment to reflect on your current health status and that of your friends and family.  Prevention is always better than cure.

Please share this to others… Don’t wait!

Men may be at Greater Risk of Disease!

Men (not all, but a majority) will play down health matters.  They will deny or ignore the seriousness of symptoms and use every excuse in the book before succumbing to the dreaded appointment.

Excuses Men May Use

 Some common excuses may be:

  • There’s probably nothing wrong anyway!
  • I don’t have time for that!
  • It cost too much money!
  • I’d rather tough it out!
  • It will go away on its own!
Or their subconscious may be telling them:
  • I might not like what I hear!
  • I’m scared to get on the scales!
  • I may need invasive tests!
  • It’s not manly to seek help!

The Perception that Pain Shows Weakness and is not Manly

A lot of men may see their pain as a weakness and a hit to their masculinity. The “man flu” is a perfect example of how society perceives and jokes about men getting sick.

Often men receive little or no emotional support from male peers.  This is especially so if they are a tradesman or labourer; in a stereotype blokey job.  Most men don’t feel that they are in the position to express emotions, vulnerability and pain.

SYMPTOMS are the Body’s Red Warning Light
Whether issues are potentially life-threatening or not; courageously addressing this perceived weakness… And allowing yourself to get the health care you deserve may lead to resolving your issues and dramatically changing your life (for the better).
Also by addressing these current health concerns, this will dramatically lower the risk of future, more serious illness & disease from manifesting.
Taking this path will greatly improve your quality of life..
Leading by example will INFLUENCE how your CHILDREN (especially boys) tackle THEIR own health issues as they grow up..
It will also improve the lives of friends and loved ones around you..
everyone will benefit from you being well!

For the Ladies… For the Health of Their Men

Hi Ladies… When it comes to health matters, us women are usually right on the ball.  We are in touch with our bodies and know instantly when something isn’t quite right.
Most of the time, women prioritise Their health!
Unfortunately though, the same can’t be said about the males in our lives.  Trying to get a man to deal with health concerns; or even admit they have any issues, is not always an easy task.
So ladies, I ask you to talk to and encourage the men that you care about to not ignore health issues.
I see a lot of women in my clinic, but very few men.  I know the men have concerns because I see them every day, everywhere i go.
It’s not their fault!
Men from past generations were / are the same way.  Trates that were instilled in them from childhood have flowed through to the next generations.  Raised with the belief that its not manly to complain about their health issues, especially to other men.
Belief patterns need to change
But, this needs to change, more-so now than ever before; as obesity and disease have become scarily commonplace.
Society in general is being slowly poisoned by almost everything in our lives. Our food, water, air, cleaning and personal care products are filled with chemicals.
We are completely overloaded with unnecessary drugs and vaccines; it’s hard to escape this barrage of toxins.
it’s almost become normal for someone to be fat and sick
It may be our job ladies to lead our male loved ones in the right direction… and that’s towards good health.
Encourage your man to see a Natural Health Practitioner… for a better quality of life.
